THE CATHEDRAL BOWL

This Crémant d'Alsace is made from a blend of Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois grapes. It has been aged for 24 months in the bottle, under cover in the cellars of the Cave du Roi Dagobert. It has a pale yellow color and is enhanced by a persistent mousse. The bubbles are fine and form nice strings. The nose reveals aromas of apple, pear and white flowers. On the palate, this Crémant brut with a very low dosage is fine and fresh. The finish is slightly chiselled, and reminds the delicate work of the sculptors of the Cathedral of Strasbourg.

This product is the result of a partnership between the Cave du Roi Dagobert and the Fondation de l'œuvre Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. After the success of the 2015 sale of the Pinot Gris du Millénaire de la Cathédrale (which allowed the Cave du Roi Dagobert to donate 30,000€ to the foundation), we decided to perpetuate this partnership with the Crémant Cuvée de la Cathédrale.

We donate one euro per bottle sold to the Foundation. You too can contribute to the patronage of this beautiful initiative!
