2. Apéro'Dago: Alsatian asparagus evening
On Friday, May 15, we are thrilled to once again host the food and wine tasting event we’ve all been looking forward to: the Alsatian Asparagus Evening, featuring the asparagus grower from Kochersberg!
For this evening, we will be serving a variety of asparagus-based dishes paired with a selection of our Alsace wines. Our team of sommeliers will describe and explain each dish, and our friendly team of winemakers will be on hand to serve you!
Tonight's menu:
– Sweet-and-sour asparagus skewers with smoked duck breast
– Cream of asparagus tip soup (hot) with smoked ham chips
– Asparagus salad with hard-boiled egg, chives, and whole-grain mustard
– Asparagus and smoked salmon quiche
– Asparagus gratin in a casserole dish
– Asparagus ice cream, rhubarb compote, and strawberry nectar
