  • Grand Show of Fruits and Vegetables of Alsace - Cave du roi Dagobert Partner

Grand Show of Fruits and Vegetables of Alsace

La Cave du Roi Dagobert is the exclusive wine partner of the Grand Show de Fruits et Légumes d'Alsace, on September 22, 23, 24 and 25, 2022 in Illkirch - Baggersee, Strasbourg.

Imagine a huge vegetable garden and orchard that would bring together on some 40,000 m² all that grows in Alsace in terms of fruit and vegetables. 40,000 m² of exhibition space, organized in the form of a vast fan of which a pyramid of vegetables 7 meters high is the heart, and 8 majestic structures of fruit and vegetables straight out of mythology form the end of the branches.

We will see a turtle (5 m long and 5 m high), a bear (6 m long and 5 m high), an owl (5 m long and 3 m high), but also new creations acquired from the lemon festival in Menton: lion, fish, dragon, crocodile.

We are talking about the staging of 30 tons of squash of all shapes and colors, 10 tons of apples, tens of thousands of carrots, leeks, cabbages, turnips, potatoes, cauliflowers. Of course, all the fruits and vegetables used to create the various compositions will be recycled in partnership with local associations.
